Článek podává stručný přehled života Františka Alexandra Zacha – propagátora mezislovanské vzájemnosti a česko-srbské spolupráce v 19. století. Hlavní pozornost je zaměřena na politickou angažovanost F. A. Zacha v Srbsku ve 40.–70. letech 19. století a na jeho podíl při výstavbě srbské armády. The article outlines the life of Frantisek Alexandr Zach – a promoter of Slavic reciprocity and the Czech-Serbian collaboration in the 19th century. The main focus is on the political involvement of F. A. Zach in Serbia in the 1840s – 1870s and his contribution to the creation of Serbian army.
