The contribution deals with both experimental and theoretical investigation of collision of a bubble with a horizontal hydrophobic (glass) surface. The terminal bubble velocity, impact velocity, contact time of bubble with the wall and restitution coefficient (ratio of restitution and terminal velocity) are evaluated (by means of a high-speed camera) as a function of bubble size, which is ranging from 0.34 to 2.07 mm. The experimental results are compared with the models based on a balance of forces acting on a bubble during the interaction process. A good agreement is showed between the experimental data and theoretical predictions. Příspěvek se zabývá jak experimentálním tak teoretickým studiem kolize bubliny s horizontální hydrofóbní (skleněnou) stěnou. Terminální rychlost bubliny, rychlost při nárazu, doba kontaktu bubliny se stěnou a restitučný koeficient (poměr rychlosti při odrazu a terminální rychlosti) jsou vyhodnoceny v závislosti na velikosti bublin. Experimentální výsledky jsou porovnány s modely založenými na bilanci sil působících na bublinu během procesu kolize. Z tohoto porovnání je patrná dobrá shoda mezi experimentem a teoretickými předpovědi.
