The present work focus on one of the less understood problems controlling the bubble size distribution in this type of devices and, as a result, the contact area between phases and the mass transfer rate: the coalescence. Předkládaná práce je zaměřena na jeden z málo probádaných problémů koalescence dvojic bublin. Tento proces řídí distribuci velikosti bublin v různých zařízeních, a tím i mezifázovou plochu a rychlost přenosu hmoty.
