Tato diplomová práce seznamuje čtenáře s uměleckým životem Bohuslava Matouška, vynikajícího významného českého houslisty a pedagoga. Přibližuje také jeho životní úspěchy v oblasti zvukového záznamu, nejblíže se věnuje okolnostem vzniku a vydání souborného díla Bohuslava Martinů pro koncertantní housle (a violu). Vydání kompletních skladeb Bohuslava Martinů dosáhlo celosvětového úspěchu, proto připojuji části recenzí a kritik ze zahraničí. Následuje výčet nejsignifikantnějších sólových nahrávek, několik částí rozhovorů pro tuzemský tisk a v závěru práce uvádím interpretační analýzu nahrávky Brahmsova houslového koncertu D dur Op. 77 pana Matouška z roku 1988. This thesis introduces to its readers artistic and professional life of Bohuslav Matoušek, outstanding renowned czech violinist and pedagogue. It also describes his great successes in the field of music recordings, the most it zooms on recording and production of the complete works of Bohuslav Martinů for concertante violin (and viola). This extraordinary set of complete works by Martinů had a great success worldwide, because of that I also attach excerpts of reviews and critique from abroad. These are followed by listing the most significant solo recordings and some of the interviews for Czech press. At the very end this thesis contains an analysis of Mr. Matoušek‘s recording of the violin concerto in D major Op. 77 by Johannes Brahms from 1988.
