ABSTRAKT Cíl práce: Tato práce si primárně klade za cíl popsat onemocnění migréna, stávající algoritmus péče o pacienty s touto diagnózou a odhadnout přímé náklady na léčbu migrény z pohledu zdravotnického systému v ČR. V teoretické části jsou mapovány základní pojmy a postupy zdravotnické ekonomie a hodnocení zdravotnických technologií, zejména pak cost-of-illness analýzy, která je v praktické části provedena, právě na migréně. Metody: Pomocí dat o preskripci léčiv z FNHK jsou propočítány náklady na léčiva užívaná k léčbě migrény. Dále se pomocí údajů z literatury o čerpání zdravotní péče (ambulantní a hospitalizační) tyto služby oceňují a odhadují tak náklady na léčbu pacienta s onemocněním z pohledu zdravotního systému v ČR. Výsledky: Průměrné roční náklady na léčbu jednoho pacienta u epizodické migrény byly stanoveny na 1 182 Kč za ambulantní péči, 786 Kč za hospitalizaci a 2 707 Kč za léčivé přípravky. U chronické migrény jsou průměrné náklady vyšší a byly odhadnuty na 3 321 Kč za ambulantní péči, 2 745 Kč za hospitalizaci a 7 415 Kč za léčivé přípravky. Závěry: Celkové přímé roční náklady na pacienta byly odhadnuty na 4 676 Kč (181 €) v intervalu 3 058 Kč (118 €) - 7 268 Kč (281 €) na pacienta s epizodickou migrénou a 13 481 Kč (521 €) v intervalu 6 827 Kč (264 €) - 18 939 Kč (732 €). ABSTRACT Background: This study is primarily aimed at describing migraine illnesses, the existing patient care algorithm with this diagnosis and to estimate the direct costs of treatment of migraine from the point of view of the health care system in the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part, the basic concepts and procedures of health economics and the health technologies assessment are examined, especially the cost-of-illness of the analysis that is conducted in the practical part, namely just on the illness of migraine. Methods: The cost of drugs used to treat migraine is determined using FNHK (Fakultni nemocnice Hradec Kralove) prescription data. Further, using the data on health care (both ambulatory and inpatient care), these services are being appraised and this way the cost of treatment of a patient with the disease estimated from the point of view of the health system in the Czech Republic. Results: The average annual cost of treatment of one patient with episodic migraine was assessed at CZK 1,182 for outpatient care, CZK 786 for hospitalization and CZK 2,707 for medication.
