Předkládaná diplomová práce je zaměřena na výuku paleontologie a historické geologie na 2. stupni základní školy v rámci vzdělávacího předmětu přírodopis. Teoretická část práce shrnuje problematiku paleontologie v ČR včetně jejího historického vývoje a mapuje systém kurikulárních dokumentů ČR, především Rámcový vzdělávací program pro základní vzdělávání. Hlavním cílem práce je zpracování 5 tematických výukových bloků obsahující učivo z historické geologie, které lze uplatnit během výuky přírodopisu na 2. stupni ZŠ a v odpovídajících ročnících víceletých gymnázií. Praktická část obsahuje ucelenou přípravu výukových bloků včetně metodiky a 3 výzkumná šetření, která měla za cíl zjistit zájem žáků o výuku podle tematických bloků, představy žáků o vzhledu dinosaurů a zhodnocení vyobrazení dinosaurů z rozličných předloh (populárně naučné knihy, celovečerní filmy, dokumentární seriály a hračky). Zájem žáků o výukové bloky byl vyhodnocen za pomoci dotazníkového šetření, kterého se zúčastnilo 113 žáků. Představy žáků o dinosaurech byly studovány porovnáním kreseb dinosaurů se 4 charakteristickými znaky, které 107 žáků nakreslilo. Zhodnocení vyobrazení dinosaurů bylo realizováno porovnáním 94 obrazových předloh s totožnými znaky jako u žáků. Výuka i výzkum se uskutečnili na základní škole Na Beránku v Praze... This diploma thesis is focused on the teaching of paleontology and historical geology at the 2nd level of primary school within the educational subject of natural history. The theoretical part summarizes a problematic of paleontology in the Czech Republic, including its historical development, and presents the system of curricular documents of the Czech Republic primarily the Framework Education Program for Elementary Education. The main aim of the thesis is to compile five thematic teaching blocks from historical geology, which can be used in the teaching of natural history at the primary school and in the corresponding levels of multi-year grammar schools. The practical part described the teaching blocks including their methodology and three research surveys thematically aimed to identification of students' interest in paleontology within the blocks, students' ideas about an appearance of the dinosaurs, and their evaluation of dinosaur images from various popular books, feature films and toys. The interest of students in the teaching blocks was evaluated using a questionnaire survey (113 participates).
