Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na mikroplasty, jakožto na malé fragmenty plastu, které zatěžují životní prostředí a pravděpodobně představují nebezpečí pro živé organismy včetně člověka. V posledních letech se prokazují závažné zdravotní následky, které jsou způsobené dlouhodobou expozicí právě těchto mikroplastických částeček na organismy. Ukazuje se, že jejich nebezpečnost stoupá se vzrůstající schopností adsorpce toxických látek na povrchu. Primárně je potřeba omezit vstup těchto mikročástic do ekosystému, proto se tedy na začátku práce zabývám jejich původem. Mikroplasty se vyskytují ve všech sférách životního prostředí. Různé typy prostředí představují i různorodé podmínky pro odebrání a následnou analýzu vzorků. Proto je nutné nejdříve zvolit vhodnou techniku separace a následné identifikace mikroplastů. Pro přehlednost předkládá tato práce souhrn všech stávajících užívaných analytických metod, jejich výhody a vzájemné porovnání. Nejčastěji užívané techniky separace jsou založené na principu hustotní flotace. Následná identifikace fragmentů probíhá za užití mikroskopie, spektroskopie či plynové chromatografie. Práce popisuje principy jednotlivých užívaných technik detekce a zároveň je představuje na konkrétních případových analýzách. Předmětem práce je i problematika mnohem menších plastových... This bachelor thesis is focused on microplastics as small fragments of plastics which represent a burden for the environment and can be probably dangerous for living organisms including mankind. Serious health consequences caused by a long term exposition of the microplastics to organisms have been demonstrated in the recent years. It has been proven that the level of harm increases with ability to adsorb toxic substances on their surface. Primarily, it is necessary to eliminate entrance of these microparticles into the ecosystem and therefore this thesis describes routes of microplastic inputs into the environment. The microplastics occur in all levels of the environment, that represent various environmental matrices with different conditions, that must be considered for successful separation and subsequent analysis of samples. This thesis provides summarization of currently used analytical methods including their advantages and comparisons. The most frequently used techniques of separation are based on the principle of density flotation. Further identification of fragments is performed using microscopy, spectroscopy or gas chromatography.
