Esej tematizuje problém výuky filosofie na střední škole. Zkoumá prostor, který se otevírá mezi nemožností učit na této úrovni vzdělávání filosofii jako systematickou disciplinu s testovatelným postupem osvojování si znalostí a mezi citlivostí mladých lidí k nesmiřitelným krutostem světa. Využívá přitom modelově výklad o smrtelnosti jako bytostném rozlišovacím rysu mezi člověkem a zvířetem. The essay is focused on teaching philosophy at high schools. It orders to survey a space for philosophizing which is opened between the impossibility of teaching philosophy as a systematic discipline with the testable advancement of the knowledge and the sensibility of young people to the irreconciable cruelties of the world.
