Protiteroristická legislativa prošla v Evropě po útocích z 11. září 2001 výraznými proměnami. V práci Koncepční přístupy Spojeného království Velké Británie a Severního Irska a Spolkové republiky Německo k protiteroristickým legislativním opatřením autor demonstruje rozdílný přístup Spojeného království a Německa k problematice protiteroristických zákonů od roku 2001 do roku 2016. Na začátku práce autor osvětluje problém s charakterizováním pojmu terorismus v dnešní době a to, jak je tento pojem ukotven v legislativě obou zemí. Hlavní stať práce je následně rozdělena podle země do dvou větších bloků. V každé zemi byly vybrány tři zákony, kterým se autor věnuje podrobněji. Zde se práce zaměřuje na největší změny oproti předešlým legislativním úpravám. Relevantnost popisovaných zákonů je postavena na míře změn, které zavádějí, především pak oblasti, které daný zákon přímo ovlivňuje. Autor se v práci věnuje i debatám, které vznik daných zákonů doprovázely. Předkládaná práce tak chce na příkladu dvou důležitých aktérů na poli evropské bezpečnosti demonstrovat rozdílný přístup k protiteroristické legislativě. In the thesis Conceptual approach of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the Federal republic of Germany to Anti-terrorism legislation, the focus is given to the diverse approach of both, United Kingdom and Germany, towards the counter- terrorism laws in the period between 2001 and 2016. In the first section, the author is explaining difficulties with the explanation of term terrorism in each country. The body of the thesis is then divided into two sections. Each of the sections concentrates on three legislation changes within the listed period. The selection of these changes was based on their security, political and social relevance. Autor is also presenting the controversy around the described legislation changes. The primary aim of this thesis is to demonstrate the diverse approach to counter-terrorism laws.
