Diplomová práce Mediální obraz "uprchlíka" v českém tisku se zabývá analýzou obrazu "uprchlíka", který je předkládán české veřejnosti tištěnými médii. V teoretické části práce popisuji způsob, jakým je konstruována realita a jaké jsou mechanismy konstrukce mediálního sdělení. Dále vysvětluji, jak jsou ve společenském a politickém diskurzu vnímány pojmy, které se v médiích vyskytují v souvislosti s tzv. uprchlickou krizí a následně popisuji vývoj migrace na evropském kontinentu. Ve výzkumné části práce byla pro konkrétní zdokumentování obrazu "uprchlíka" vybrána dvě časová období: druhá polovina roku 2015, tedy období vrcholu tzv. uprchlické krize a druhá polovina roku 2017, kdy tato tzv. krize pomalu ustává. Pomocí kvalitativní obsahové analýzy novinových článků z těchto dvou období zkoumám, jaký obraz "uprchlíka" média konstruovala a jak se tento obraz v čase proměnil. Vybranými médii k analýze jsou deník Blesk a deník Mladá fronta DNES, protože polovina čtenářů deníků čte jedno z těchto dvou periodik, a tudíž mohou mít vliv na vnímání obrazu "uprchlíka" u největšího počtu čtenářů. V práci se zaměřuji také na rozdíly v mediálním sdělení těchto dvou periodik. Ačkoliv se české veřejnosti problematika tzv. uprchlické krize v každodenním životě nedotýká, vyvolala a dodnes vyvolává řadu emocí a... The thesis, Medial image of a "refugee" in czech press deals with analysis of the image of a "refugee", which is introduced to the czech public via printed media. In theoratical part of my thesis I describe a manner, in which the reality is beeing constructed an what are the mechanisms of media cummunication. Below I explain a way in which are in social and political discourse perceived concepts concerning the so called refugee crisis and then I describe an evolution of the migration on the europian continent. In the research part of my thesis were for specific documentation of the image of a refugee chosen two time periods: The second half of the year 2015 as an apex of the refugee crisis and the second half of the year 2017 where this so called crisis slowly diminishes. With a help of qualitative content analysis of the newspaper articles of theese two periods I research what image of a "refugee" the media had constructed and how that image changed in time. The media chosen for this analysis are the daily newspaper Blesk and the daily newspaper Mladá fronta DNES, because a half of the readers reads one of theese journals, therefore they can influence perception of the image of a refugee with the largest number of the readers.
