Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou obezity, která v současnosti patří mezi nejčastější metabolická onemocnění. Teoretická část práce shrnuje základní charakteristiku obezity, epidemiologii, etiopatogenezi, zdravotní komplikace a možnosti léčby. Práce si klade za cíl popsat hmotnostní vývoj u pacientů s obezitou 3. stupně a zjistit hlavní příčiny, které se nejvíce podílejí na vzestupu a poklesu hmotnosti. Údaje ke zpracování grafu vývoje hmotnosti poskytlo 57 obézních jedinců. Informace byly získány formou retrospektivní metody při osobním rozhovoru na III. interní klinice - klinice endokrinologie a metabolismu Všeobecné fakultní nemocnice a 1. LF UK v Praze. Veškerá shromážděná data byla následně statisticky vyhodnocena do podoby tabulek a grafů. Nejčastější příčinou vzestupu hmotnosti v celém souboru je kombinace nezdravého stravování a sedavý způsob života (56 %). Pouze u žen bylo nejčastější příčnou nárůstu váhy těhotenství (68 %). Mezi významné příčiny, které se značně uplatnily při vzestupu hmotnosti, patří stres (46 %), farmakoterapie (46 %), úraz nebo operace (40 %). Naproti tomu nejčastější příčinou poklesu hmotnosti byla u většiny pacientů dieta či úprava stravy (65 %), LCD a VLCD režim na lůžku (51 %) a bariatrická operace (40 %). Další výsledky ukázaly, že muži dosahují během... The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of obesity, which is currently one of the most common metabolic diseases. The theoretical part summarizes the basic characteristics of obesity, epidemiology, etiopathogenesis, health complications and treatment options. The thesis aims to describe weight development in patients with 3rd degree obesity and to find out the main causes that are most involved in the rise and fall of weight. Data a graph of the weight development provided 57 obese individuals. Information was obtained in the form of a retrospective method in a personal interview on III. Internal Clinic - Clinic of Endocrinology and Metabolism of the General Teaching Hospital and 1st Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in Prague. All the collected data were then statistically evaluated in the form of tables and graphs. The most frequent cause of weight gain in the whole group is the combination of unhealthy eating and sedentary lifestyle (56%). Only women have most frequent cause of weight increases in a pregnancy (68%). Significant causes of weight gain include stress (46%), pharmacotherapy (46%), injury or surgery (40%).
