Cílem této bakalářské práce je popsání vodíku, metod výroby, jeho následné použití a srovnání dle vybraných kritérií. Úvodní část je věnována popisu vodíku jako elementu, včetně jeho izotopů. Další pasáž se stručně věnuje jeho historii v energetice a nejpoužívanějším technologiím výroby v současnosti. Důraz je kladen na Power-to-Gas zařízení Energiepark Mainz. V poslední části je vodík jakožto palivo srovnáno v odvětví automobilového průmyslu. The goal of this bachelor’s thesis is the description of hydrogen, its production methods, subsequent use and comparison by selected criteria. In the beginning of the thesis, hydrogen is described as an element. The following chapter briefly deals with its history in energy industry and the most commonly used production technologies. The emphasis is on a Power-to-Gas facility, Energiepark Mainz. In the end, hydrogen is compared as a fuel in the automotive industry.
