Tato práce se zabývá nejnovější formou náhradní rodinné péče (NRP), která je v České republice poskytována - pěstounskou péčí na přechodnou dobu (PPPD). Úvodní kapitoly se zaměřují na celý systém sociálně-právní ochrany dětí v České republice. Na pozadí těchto obecnějších informací je představen a do kontextu uveden institut PPPD, jeho vymezení oproti pěstounské péči a dalším formám NRP, s nimiž je často zaměňován, a to vše na základě zákona č. 359/1999 Sb., ve kterém je PPPD legislativně ukotvena. Popsán je nejen současný stav, ale také vybrané klíčové změny, které přinesly novely tohoto zákona v letech 2006 a 2013. Dalšími prameny jsou občanský zákoník z roku 2012 a odborná literatura, které je však k této problematice velmi málo. Proto práce čerpá také z četných podkladů dostupných na internetu a poznatky jsou usouvztažňovány s osobními zkušenostmi autorky a dalších pěstounů na přechodnou dobu s realizací PPPD. Práce se kromě aktuálního legislativního ukotvení PPPD zabývá také vývojem PPPD a problematikou přípravy žadatelů o NRP. Jedna kapitola je věnována dvěma specifickým situacím dětí, které do PPPD mohou přijít - dítě nezletilé matky a dítě matky jiné národnosti. Cílem práce je poskytnout čtenáři základní vhled do celé problematiky, pojmenovat úskalí a rizika, které PPPD a její současná... This thesis studies the latest form of substitute family care in the Czech Republic - foster care for a temporary period (FCTP). The introductory chapters focus on the entire socio-legal protection of children in the Czech Republic.After this general background information follows an introduction of the FCPT institute, legislated in Act No 359/1999, and its distinctness from foster care and other forms of substitute family care often interchanged with FCPT. The description is not limited to the current state but contains selected key changes brought by the amendments to this act in 2006 and 2013. Further sources are the Civil Code from 2012 and the limited professional literature concerning this topic. Hence, the thesis also uses material available on the internet and the findings are extended by the personal experience of the author and other FCPT parents (with the realization of FCPT). Besides analyzing the current legislation for FCPT, the thesis also studies the development of FCPT and the problematics of preparing applicants for substitute family care. One chapter is devoted to two specific cases of children eligible for FCPT - child of a minor and child of a foreigner.
