Článek poskytuje základní informace o pricipech a metodách měření lomové houževnatosti na horninách. Lomová houževnatost je relativně nový parametr v geomechanice a má zvláštní požadavky na laboratorní přípravu horninových vzorků. This paper gives information about principles and methodology of fracture toughness measurement of rock. Fracture toughness is a relatively new parameter in geomechanics and put a great requirements on laboratory preparation of rock specimen.
