Borderland of European states is no more a setting for delimitation of national states but more and more a problem of overcoming barriers in the process of European integration. Typology of the Czech border regions from the viewpoint of their marginality and possibilities of cross-border collaboration is the aim of the paper. Pohraniční evropských zemí přestává být problémem vymezování hranic národních států, ale stává se problémem překonávání bariér v procesu evropské integrace. Cílem práce je typologie českých pohraničních regionů z pohledu jejich marginality a možností přeshraniční spolupráce.
