Tato bakalářská práce se skládá ze dvou hlavních částí, a to z překladu textu z angličtiny do češtiny a následného komentáře. Výchozím textem je část kapitoly "Fantasy, Supernatural, Science Fiction, Utopias, and Dystopias" z knihy Literature for Today's Young Adults, což je učební text o literatuře pro mládež. Komentář se se skládá z analýzy výchozího textu, dále pak popisu zvolené metody překladu, rozboru konkrétních problémů v překladu a překladatelských posunů, které během překladu vznikly. This bachelor thesis consists of two main parts - the translation from English to Czech and the commentary on it. The source text is a part of selected chapter "Fantasy, Supernatural, Science Fiction, Utopias, and Dystopias" from the book Literature for Today's Young Adults which is a textbook about young adult literature. The commentary comprises of the analysis of the source text, description of the selected method of translation, analysis of specific translation problems and translation shifts which occurred during the translation process.
