SOUHRN Souhrn _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 61 Nejdůležitější výsledky získané v rámci této disertační práce, která přispěla k porozumění fyziologické roli kvasinkových Na+ /H+ antiporterů plasmatické membrány, je možno shrnout do těchto bodů: 1. Studium kvasinkových Na+ /H+ antiporterů na úrovni jejich sekvencí (publikace č. 1) ukázalo, že struktura všech tří skupin antiporterů (Nha1, Nhx1 i Kha1) pravděpodobně obsahuje 12 transmembránových segmentů, v sekvencích proteinů jsme nalezli některé konzervované aminokyseliny či motivy, jež by mohly být významné pro aktivitu antiporterů, a námi provedená fylogenetická studie ukázala, že proteiny Nhx1 jsou příbuzné savčím a rostlinným Na+ /H+ antiporterům, proteiny Kha1 se zdají být nejpříbuznější s bakteriálními antiportery a Na+ /H+ antiportery plasmatické membrány (rodina Nha1) tvoří oddělenou vývojovou větev, jejíž představitelé byli doposud charakterizováni jen v houbových organismech. 2. Gen DhNHA1 kvasinky D. hansenii kóduje Na+ /H+ antiporter plasmatické membrány se širokou substrátovou specifitou (publikace č. 2).
