Práce analyzuje dostupná data (celkem 564 záznamů) o úrazech pohybového aparátu u skupiny profesionálních 240 fotbalistů za období 16 let (1997 až 2013) průměrného věku vztaženého k začátku všech hracích sezón 24,3 roku (medián 24.0 roku, rozpětí 16 až 39 let). Byly sledovány proměnné věk, výška, hmotnost, BMI, postavení hráče na hřišti (defenzivní či ofenzivní hráč, brankář), počet zranění (úraz hlezna, kolena, svalu dolní končetiny, zlomenina dolní končetiny, zranění horní končetiny, zranění hlavy, krku a zad, zranění šlach a třísla) a povrch, na kterém k úrazu došlo (suchý - tvrdý, mokrý - měkký, umělý). Pro statistické zpracování dat a vyšetření možných závislostí úrazu na dalších proměnných byla zvolena metoda smíšeného modelu. Vliv zápasu v porovnání s tréninkem znamenal statisticky významně vyšší riziko sezóny s úrazem kolena a současně pokles rizika s rostoucí hodnotou BMI. Vedle statisticky významné proměnné trénink/zápas (zápas znamená větší riziko) závisí riziko úrazu kolena na druhu povrchu, přičemž suchý povrch znamená vyšší riziko úrazu kolene. Zápas je vysoce rizikový i pro úraz hlezna oproti tréninku - suchý povrch, stejně jako v případě úrazu kolene, zvyšuje významně riziko úrazu hlezna. The study analyses available data (a total of 564 reports) on injuries to the musculoskeletal apparatus in a series of 240 professional soccer players, with the average age of 24.3 years as of the beginning of all football seasons (median 24.0 years, range 16 - 39 years), covering the period of 16 years (1997 - 2013). The analysed variables included age, height, body weight, BMI, different football positional roles (defence, offence, goalkeeper), number of injuries (injury to the ankle, the knee, lower limb muscles; lower limb fracture, injury to the upper limb, injury to the head, neck and back, injury to tendons and groins) and the surface on which the injury was sustained (dry - hard, wet - soft, artificial). Processing of statistical data and examination of a potential correlation between the respective injury and variables was based on the mixed model method. During the season the risk of a knee injury sustained in a match was statistically significantly higher as compared to training; at the same time the risk was decreasing with the growing BMI value.
