For articular cartilage modelled as a biphasic mixture (a solid porous matrix swollen by a fluid that moves slowly through the matrix pores due to a pressure gradient), the instantaneous material parameters are theoretically obtained once the equilibrium material parameters are known. Pro kloubní chrupavku modelovanou jako dvoufázová směs (pórovitá matrice s kapalinou, která se pomalu pohybuje skrz póry účinkem tlakového gradientu), okamžité materiálové parametry jsou získány teoreticky, jsou-li známy rovnovážné materiálové parametry.
