Článek je věnován Matijovi Majaru Ziljskému, který přispěl k širšímu uplatnění slovinštiny ve školství a státní správy v polovině 19. století. Majarovy jazykové požadavky byly totiž součástí jeho politického programu, jehož význam přesáhl hranice Korutan. The article is devoted to Matija Majar Ziljski who stimulated a wider use of the Slovenian language in the educational system and state administration in the middle of the 19th century. His language demands were the part of his political programme, whose importance exceeded the frontiers of Carinthia.
