Tato práce se zabývá osobností Matouše z Krakova, významného pozdně středověkého učence, jenž největší část svého života, tj. od 60. do začátku 90. let 14. století, strávil v Praze, na zdejší univerzitě. Taktéž většina děl z jeho objemného literárního odkazu vznikla právě během pražského působení. Nejdůležitější z nich jsou součástí širokého reformního hnutí, které v Čechách konce 14. století v době prohlubující se krize katolické církve nabíralo na stále větší intenzitě. První část práce přináší stručné shrnutí Matoušova pražského pobytu. V tomto ohledu je kladen důraz především na dochované prameny dosvědčující Matoušovo pražské působení, jež jsou konfrontovány s některými vývody a domněnkami starší literatury. Součástí práce je dále vypracovaný soupis rukopisů uložených v českých institucích, které obsahují opisy Matoušových děl. Na základě analýzy tohoto soupisu je v hlavní části práce ukázáno, jakým způsobem docházelo k recepci děl Matouše z Krakova v českém prostředí. Takovýto výzkum nebyl dosud českou historiografií realizován, a tak je zde vytvořen jistý základ, na který může navazovat budoucí bádání o krakovském rodáku i dalších příslušnících pražské předhusitské univerzity. This thesis deals with Matthew of Cracow. This significant late-medieval scholar spent the greatest part of his life, from the 60s until the beginning of 90s of the 14th century, at the Prague university. The majority of his voluminous literary heritage was created during the years spent in Prague. His most important works belonged to the wide reformation movement which was gaining ground in the late 14th century Bohemia, when the crisis of the Catholic Church escalated. The first part provides a brief overview of Matthew's stay in Prague. The emphasis is placed on extant sources proving Matthew's Prague activity, which are confronted with some deductions and assumptions present in older literature. This thesis includes a list of manuscripts containing transcriptions of Matthew's texts kept in Czech institutions. Based on an analysis of this list, the main part of the thesis then shows the reception of his texts in the Bohemian milieu. This kind of research has not yet been conducted in Czech historiography and thus creates a foundation for the future study of Matthew and other members of the Prague pre-Hussite university.
