Unmanned aircrafts represent one of the fastest growing technologies of the last years. Although historically not completely unknown, only recently have they acquired the long-deserved attention. However, it focuses almost exclusively on their use in combat operations, whereas their capabilities in civilian sphere remain relatively unexplored. Analysis of these abilities is the main focus of this thesis, which describes and analyses current applicable legislation, points out different issues of both its interpretation and application and tries to offer solutions. This thesis is divided into 4 chapters and a conclusion. The first chapter deals with the introduction to this topic, including history of unmanned aircrafts and clarification of the term unmanned aircraft itself. Then it moves on to describe the possible classification of unmanned aircrafts and the terminology used, which remains unsettled even to this day. The main aim of this is to try to help the reader to find his way in this complicated area. The second chapter includes the analysis of the applicable legislation in the Czech republic, starting with the general approach and then continuing with special emphasis on particular issues, such as operating limitations of unmanned aircrafts in certain areas or liability of aircraft operators... Bezpilotné lietadlá predstavujú jednu z najrýchlejšie sa rozvíjajúcich technológií posledných rokov. Aj keď sa nejedná o zariadenia historicky úplne neznáme, až v dnešnej dobe sa im konečne dostáva zaslúženej pozornosti. Takmer výhradne sa ale upiera na ich použitie v bojových operáciách, zatiaľ čo možnosti bezpilotných lietadiel v civilnej sfére zostávajú naďalej relatívne nepreskúmané. Ich rozbor je hlavným predmetom tejto diplomovej práce, ktorá popisuje a analyzuje platnú právnu úpravu, upozorňuje na rôzne interpretačné aj praktické problémy a snaží sa poskytnúť riešenia. Táto práca je rozdelená na 4 časti a záver. Prvá časť sa venuje všeobecnému úvodu do problematiky, vrátane histórie bezpilotných lietadiel a vyjasneniu pojmu bezpilotného lietadla. Ďalej pokračuje k popisu možného delenia a terminológii, ktorá ešte ani dnes nie je definitívne ustanovená. To všetko má pomôcť čitateľovi k lepšej orientácii v tejto komplikovanej oblasti. Druhá časť obsahuje rozbor právnej úpravy v Českej republike, najskôr všeobecne, a potom aj s dôrazom na jednotlivé najdôležitejšie oblasti, ako sú priestorové obmedzenia prevádzky bezpilotných lietadiel alebo zodpovednosť prevádzkovateľov podľa leteckých predpisov. Táto časť sa špeciálne venuje zvláštnym kategóriám, ako sú malé modely lietadiel a diaľkovo...
