V AOPAK ČR bylo rozhodnuto vytvořit novou mapu geomorfologických regionů České republiky s využitím ArcView GIS technologií. Pro novou mapu měřítka 1:500 000 bylo vybrán digitální produkt ArcČR 500. Autoři rozlišili 10 geomorfologických systémů. 27 podsystémů, 93 celků, 268 podcelků a 935 okrsků. Mapa byla vytištěna barevně a bude součástí připravovaného 2. vydání Geografického lexikonu Hory a nížiny ČR. In Agency of Nature Conservation and Landscape Protection of Czech Republic decided to create new digital map of geomorphological regions of Czech Republic using ArcView GIS methodology. The scale 1:500 000 was chosen for a new map based on digital map product ArcČR 500. The authors distinguished 10 geomorphological systems, 27 geomorphological subsystems, 93 regions, 268 subregions and 935 wards. The map was printed in colours and will be part of prepared second edition of Geographical Gazetteers of Czech Republic – Lowlands and Mountains and of Landscape Atlas of Czech Republic.
