The paper gives a survey on current approaches and trends in programming parallel systems, paying special attention to scientific and high-performance computing. The mainstream tools (libraries, languages, products) for systems with shared and distributed memory are characterized and some novelties like parallel Matlab are introduced. Příspěvek podává pohled do dnešního programování paralelních systémů, zejména s ohledem na vědecké a náročné výpočty. Jsou zde charakterizovány nejrozšířenější nástroje (knihovny, jazyky, produkty), jak pro systémy s distribuovanou, tak sdílenou pamětí. Dále jsou představeny některé novinky, např. paralelní Matlab.
