The bacterial gene todC1C2 coding toluene dioxygenase was introduced into plant genome using pGreen vectors and Agrobacterial transformation. The enzyme with wide substrate specificity is improving the biodegradation ability of transformed Nicotiana benthamiana. Bakteriální gen todC1C2 kodující toluendioxygenasu byl zaveden do rostlinného genomu pomocí vektorů pGreen a agrobakteriální transformace. Enzym se širokou substrátovou specifitou zvyšuje biodegradační schopnost transformovaných rostlin Nicotiana benthamiana.
