V této práci se zaměřuji na postprodukční techniky v žurnalistické fotografii a na forensní metody, kterými je možné tyto zásahy rozkrýt. Pomocí rozhovorů hledám význam pojmu autentický v digitální éře a způsoby, jakými média, porotci fotografických soutěží a soudní znalci ověřují pravost digitálních fotografií. Příklady z minulosti jsou zde zastoupeny jako předzvěst úprav v digitální éře. Tato éra je pak zastoupena jednotlivými případy, které zároveň slouží jako kategorie pro nejtypičtější druhy manipulací fotografie v oblasti zpravodajství, fotografických soutěží a vědecké fotografie. This paper focuses on post-production techniques in journalistic photography and forensic methods, which enable to uncover them. Through interviews with experts, I seek to identify the meaning of the term “authentic” in the digital age and the way by which media, photographic competitions judges as well as forensic experts verify the authenticity of digital photos. As a precursor to editing of photos in the digital age, I present examples from the past. Next, moving to the digital age, I categorize the most common kinds of photography manipulations in news, photographic competitions and science and present examples.
