cze Abstract:
[cze][eng] Meduloblastom je nejčastějším maligním nádorem centrálního nervového systému v dětském věku. Nové poznatky v charakterizaci molekulární a genetické podstaty této heterogenní nemoci umožňují lépe odhadnout prognózu pacienta a následně nastavit cílenou léčbu. Práce shrnuje současný stav poznání v této oblasti, popisuje jednotlivé molekulární varianty meduloblastomů a jim příslušející genové mutace.Medulloblastoma is the most common malignant brain tumor in children. In recent years, there has been a steady improvement in understanding of genetic and molecular heterogeneity of this tumor, that has led to better prognosis and improved targeted therapies. This thesis summarizes recent advances in molecular sub-grouping, and the associated gene mutation and copy number variations in medulloblastoma.
