The primary objective of this research is to contribute to the investigation of the unfavorabledevelopment of emerging stock markets in transition economies. This research also provides certain policy recommendations. Základním cílem tohoto výzkumu je přispět do studií nepříznivého vývoje nevyspělých akciových trhů v tranzitivních ekonomikách, jmenovitě pak České republice. Výzkum rovněž poskytuje určitá politická doporučení.
