Balancing Domain Decomposition with Constrained Energy Minimization (BDDC) derives benefit from the synergy effect between substructuring methods and multigrid approaches to preconditioning. It has been shown in several studies, that this method posseses very good properties and is competitive with FETI and FETI-DP methods, which could be mentioned among leading algorithms in the field of unstructured meshes decomposition for solving partial differential equations. Metoda BDDC těží ze synergického efektu mezi substrukturními metodami a multigridními přístupy k předpodmínění. V několika studiích bylo prokázáno, že tato metoda vykazuje velmi dobré výsledky a je srovnatelná s metodami FETI a FETI-DP, které mouhou být uvedeny jako základní algoritmy pro řešení úloh parciálních diferenciálních rovnic pomocí dekompozice nestrukturovaných sítí.
