Příspěvek se zabývá numerickými simulacemi proudění v kanálu s náhlým rozšířením. Kanál o rozměrech 2x20 cm se rozšiřuje na stupněm ve dně na rozměry 4x20 cm. Jsou použity modely turbulence – k-w SST, k-e a Reynolds stress model. Jsou použity tři výpočetní sítě a výsledky jsou porovnány s experimentálními daty. Nejlepších výsledků bylo dosaženo pro k-w SST model. The contribution deals with numerical simulations of flow in a backward step channel of step height 2 cm and channel cross section 2x20 cm. The simulations are performed with help of three turbulent models – k-w SST, standard k-e and Reynolds Stress Model on three different types of grid. The results are compared with experimental observation. The best results were achieved for k-w SST model.
