Práce představuje výsledky modelování nestandardní tlakové zkoušky dřeva prováděné na jádrových vývrtech malého rozměru ve zvláštním zkušebním zařízení. Zkouška je semidestruktivní - šeterná k historickým konstrukcím. Numerické řešení pro pružný ortotropní materiál je korelováno s výsledky experimentů s užitím moirové interferometrie. Postup umožňuje stanovit pevnosti v tlaku a elastické moduly zkoušeného jádrového vývrtu. The paper presents results of modelling a non-standard compression test of timber, executed on small diameter cores in a special testing device.The test is semidestructive - friendly to historic timber. Numerical solution for elastic orthotropic material is correlated with results of moire-intererometry experimental data. The approach enables to define strengths and Young´s moduli of the assessed core.
