Práce je zaměřena na dopravní obslužnost města Kaplice z hlediska veřejné osobní dopravy, cílem je analyzovat současnou situaci a navrhnout možná zlepšení pro fungování v budoucnu. První teoretická část vysvětluje metody, které byly použity pro analýzu z dopravního i demografického pohledu, rovněž je charakterizováno město samotné. Druhá část práce představuje samotnou analýzu, kde je zkoumána současná dopravní a demografická situace města. Důraz je kladen na popis demografických charakteristik, které mají souvislost s dopravní obslužností, dále na zhodnocení dopravní situace dle jednotlivých oborů dopravy, infrastruktury a celkového propojení zjištěných skutečností. V rámci analytické části je provedena i analýza SWOT, která identifikuje příležitosti a hrozby dopravní obslužnosti města. Na závěr je proveden odhad budoucího stavu dopravní obslužnosti v závislosti na vývoji počtu obyvatel a jeho věkového složení. Na základě provedené projekce a zjištěných poznatků jsou uvedena doporučení pro optimalizaci a efektivní fungování dopravní obslužnosti města. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the current public transport accessibility of the city Kaplice and suggest improvements for further functioning. The first theoretical part explains the used transport and demographic terms and methods as well as the characteristics of the city itself. The second analytical part analyzes the city public transport situation and related demographic variables. The emphasis is on the evaluation of the current situation in all modes of transport and the combination of demographic and transport characteristics in favor of creating an overal framework. For this reason the SWOT analysis was carried out. At the end of the thesis the population projection is used to estimate future developments in this area and outline possible solutions and recommendations for optimal and efficient public transport in the town.
