Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na poptávku po produktech cestovních kanceláří a cestovních agentur ve Spojeném království s hlavním cílem zmapovat aktuální trendy na trhu a naznačit další možný vývoj těchto trendů. Teoretická část poskytuje podklad k analýze prostřednictvím definic cestovního ruchu, charakteristiky a vývoje cestovních kanceláří a agentur přímo ve Spojeném království a také popisuje aktuální problémy vyskytující se v této zemi, které mohou ovlivňovat chování spotřebitelů. Praktická část rozebírá současné postavení cestovních kanceláří a agentur na trhu ve Spojeném království a zmiňuje inovace těchto subjektů. Navazuje vlastní dotazníkové šetření rozšířené mezi obyvatele Spojeného království zjišťující jejich preference ohledně cestování a využívání zprostředkovatelských služeb. This bachelor thesis focuses on the demand for tour operators' and travel agencies' products in the United Kingdom with the main aim of analysing current market trends and suggesting possible future development. The theoretical part provides a background for the analysis through basic definitions of tourism, characteristics and development of tour operators and travel agencies in the United Kingdom and describes current situation in the country affecting behaviour of consumers. The practical part discusses the current market position of tour operators and travel agencies in the United Kingdom and mentions innovations of these subjects. This part is followed by author's own survey spread among residents of the United Kingdom which identify their preferences about travelling and use of intermediary services.
