Příspěvek je polemikou s tezí o nemožnosti existence privátní zkušenosti, kterou vyznávají někteří autoři hlásící se k tradici postanalytické filozofie a k sociálnímu konstrukcionizmu. Z perspektivy psychologie osobních konstruktů G. A. Kellyho ukazuje, že má smysl uvažovat o vrstvách zkušenosti, které nejsou jazykově kotvené a které jsou vysoce individuální. Kromě teoretických argumentů referuje i o empirické studii s Testem sémantického výběru, jehož položky jsou neverbální povahy. Nenáhodnou strukturovanost dat vysvětluje působením individuálních a neverbálně kotvených reprezentacích s dichotomickou strukturou (osobních konstruktů). The paper discusses some arguments typical for the post-analytic philosophy and social constructionism considering issues of meaning and private experience. It presents a view of G. A. Kelly’s Personal Construct Psychology that presupposes existence of pre-verbal levels of experience which can be highly individual. It provides not only the theoretical discussions, but also an empirical study with the Semantic Selection Test which consists of non-verbal attributes. It explains non-random structures in data via a hypothesis of individual preverbal representations with a dichotomous nature (personal constructs).
