Simulační metoda posuzování spolehlivosti (SBRA) se osvědčila pro poměrně jednoduché konstrukce, ale současný vývoj programového vybavení umožňuje její použití i pro složitější konstrukce, jako např. rámy, roste ovšem při tom počet vstupních a výstupních parametrů. Parametry týkající se bezpečnosti jsou obvykle snáze dosažitelné v normách a předpisech, ale kriteria pro použitelnost si musí často určit sám projektant. Některé příklady jsou uvedeny v příspěvku. The method of Simulation Based Reliability Assessment (SBRA) has been proved well especially for relatively simple structures, but the recent development of its software has made possible to use this method also for more complicated structures like moment resisting frames. Nevertheless, the feasibility of exacted analyses of large systems emphasizes a more sophisticated engineering approach, in order to choose the input values and their probabilistic parameters in a reasonable way. In general, the parameters of safety can be more or less easily found in the Codes or other sources, but at least some of the criteria of serviceability must often be found out by the designer himself. Some examples are given in the paper.
