Práce se zabývá rozborem populárního příběhu s historickým kontextem. Pro konkretizaci byla vybrána dvědíla - Stoletý stařík, který vylezl z okna a zmizel autora Jonase Jonassona a Forrest Gump autora Winstona Grooma. Díla byla analyzována jak v literární podobě, tak v převedeném filmovém zpracování. Dále byl rozebrán edukační vliv tohoto materiálu. Cílem práce bylo ukázat, jakým způsobem zmínění autoři prezentují historií a nakolik deformace historické látky do podoby populárního holywoodského příběhu ovlivňuje diváka. To bylo v praktické části práce ověřováno v dotazníkovém průzkumu, který prokázal mimo jiné vliv zejména filmového zpracování. The thesis deals with the analysis of the popular story with the historical context. Two books have been selected for specification - The Hundred Year-Old Man Who Climbed out of the Window and Disappeared by Jonas Jonasson and Forrest Gump by Winston Groom. The works were analyzed in both literary and film adaptation. Further, the educational impact of this material has been analyzed. The aim of the work was to show the way which both authors present history and to what point does the deformation of the historical subject into a Holywood story affect the viewer. This was verified by a questionnare which besides other things proved the influence of the movie adaptation in particular.
