Role slovanské liturgie a písemnictví v Čechách v 10. století byla, především z ideologických důvodů, přeceňována. Ve skutečnosti taková liturgie neexistovala a jen málo slovanského písemnictví. Přemyslovští panovníci měli zájem na slovanské liturgii jen z politických důvodů, jako součásti svého záměru oživit moravské biskupství a založit biskupství v Praze. The role of slavic liturgy and literature in Bohemia in the 10th century was, mainly for ideological reasons, overestimated. In the reality there was no such liturgy and very small amount of slavic literacy . The Přemyslid rulers were interested in the slavic liturgy only for political reasons, as the part of her attempts to revitalize the Moravian bishopric and to erect a bishopric in Prague.
