The international round-table seminar on "Approaches to Assessing the Environment" was focused on meeting the requirements of data and model development. Quantitative methods for valuation, assessment and modelling were the main theme of our seminar. We focused particularly on monetary valuation of damage, model applications and impact assessment in the transport sector. Mezinárodní seminář u kulatého stolu na téma „Přístupy k ohodnocení životního prostředí“ se zaměřil na naplnění požadavků ohledně dat a na rozvoj modelů. Kvantitativní metody pro hodnocení, stanovení a modelování byly hlavními tématy semináře. Zaměřili jsme se zejména na měnové hodnocení škod, aplikaci modelu a stanovení dopadu v sektoru dopravy.
