[cze][eng] Tato práce je zaměřena na podrobný rozbor románu Hermanna Hesse Demian. Dílo je zkoumáno v daném historickém období i v kontextu autorova osobního života. Jako hlavních inspiračních zdrojů si všímá psychoanalýzy Carla Gustava Junga a filosofie Friedricha Nietzscheho. Rovněž nastiňuje i společenské a spisovatelské tendence na přelomu století, před a po první světové válce. The novel is analysed in the historical context of the book with consideration to the private life of the author.
