Cílem této práce je popsat a analyzovat vztah divadla a nových médií. Toho je docíleno definováním nových médií, definováním divadla, jeho vzniku a chronologického vývoje, popisem chronologického vývoje divadelních technologií a analýzou vztahu divadla a nových médií ze tří úhlů pohledu: skrze hry přejímající prvky nových médií, hry využívající nových médií jako součásti scénografie a hry hrající o nových médiích; s důrazem na české kulturní prostředí. V praktické části diplomové práce je na konkrétním představení ukázáno využívání nových médií v divadle v současnosti z těchto tří úhlů. Provedenou analýzou bylo zjištěno, že nová média se v divadle využívají nejen jako součást scénografie, ale ovlivňují divadlo svými charakteristickými principy a stávají se hlavním tématem divadelních her, a to přesně v souladu se zvolenou teorií, která chápe divadlo jako obraz světa. Výsledkem této práce je komplexní pohled na propojování divadla a technologie s důrazem na nová média a analýza jejich vztahu v současné divadelní tvorbě. The aim of this work is to describe and analyze the relation between theatre and new media. This is realized by definition of new media, definition of theatre, its origin and chronological development, description of the chronological development of theatre technologies and by analysis of the relationship between theatre and new media from three viewpoints: through plays incorporating elements of new media, plays using new media as a part of scenography, and plays playing about new media; with focus on Czech cultural environment. The practical part of the diploma work shows the use of new media in current theatre on a real play from these three viewpoints. The undertaken analysis discovered new media are used in theatre not only as a part of scenography, but influence theatre by its characteristic principles and become the main topic of theatre plays, following the chosen theory which sees theatre as a reflection of the world. The result of this work is a complex study of interconnecting theatre and technology focusing on new media and analysis of their relation to the current theatre.
