5 ABSTRAKT Práce se zaměřuje na zkoumání kvality a rozsahu poskytovaných služeb v oblasti péče o osoby s demencí a jejich rodinné pečující na Ústecku. Skrze výpovědi 9ti respondentů vypovídá o stavu informovanosti společnosti o této diagnóze. Zaměřuje se také na poskytování informací o možnostech prevence, léčby a péče, která je v současné době dostupná a v neposlední řadě na možnosti rozvoje služeb v rámci této lokality. Klíčová slova: Alzheimerova choroba, demence, sociální služby, zdravotní služby, péče v rodině. 5 ABSTRACT This thesis is focused on examining quality and range of care services for people with dementia and their family carers in the region of Ústí. Through the testimony of nine respondents provides a view of social awareness about this diagnosis. It also focuses on providing information of possibilities of prevention, medical treatment and social care that is currently available. Last but not least it deals with possibilities of development of the services within this area. Key words: Alzheimer disease, dementia, social services, healtcare services, family care.
