This bachelor thesis deals with the German-Arabic literature, especially with its part - German- Syrian literature, which is in detail described on the work of Rafik Schami, the Syrian Author, who writes in German. The theoretically part devote to the phenomenon of migration literature, political situation in Syria and in Germany and the biography of Rafik Schami. The practical part analyses his three works. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá německo-arabskou literaturou, zvláště pak její součástí, literaturou německo-syrskou, která je detailně popsána na díle Rafika Schamiho, německy píšícího autora syrského původu. Teoretická část práce se věnuje fenoménu migrační literatury, politické situaci v Sýrii i v Německu a biografii Rafika Schamiho. Praktická část pak rozebírá tři jeho díla.
