Bakalářská práce je teoretického charakteru. Je zaměřena na Český (Československý) červený kříž od jeho vzniku až po současnost. Cílem je zmapovat činnosti Mezinárodního i Českého (Československého) červeného kříže jak z hlediska historie, tak i současnosti a dostat Český červený kříž do povědomí široké veřejnosti. V průběhu práce jsou zodpovězeny tyto otázky: Jak a proč vznikl Červený kříž, kdo jej založil a z jakého důvodu? Jak vznikl Československý červený kříž, jaká byla jeho činnost po 1. světové válce a ve 2. světové válce? Jaká byla jeho činnost v poválečném a socialistickém období a v období po roce 1989? Kdy vznikl Český červený kříž, čím se zabývá a kdo jsou jeho kolektivní členové? Práce využívá kvalitativních výzkumných metod, a to metodu historickou a metodu řízených rozhovorů a jejich analýzy formou zakotvené teorie. Zpracovává soudobou i současnou odbornou literaturu, včetně časopisů, archiválií a dokumentů. Je doplněna rozhovory s managementem Oblastních spolků, jejichž cílem je zmapování aktivit všech šesti Oblastních spolků Českého červeného kříže v Ústeckém kraji. Byly zjištěny údaje o vzniku spolků, počtu jejich členů, dobrovolníků a místních skupin v době založení a nyní. Dále byly zjištěny jejich aktivity v průběhu historie a v současné době. Z výsledků rozhovorů vyplývá, čím... Bachelor's Thesis is theoretically described. It pays particular attention to Czech (Czechoslovak) Red Cross from its formation to present. The Thesis aspiration is to map out the International and Czech Red Cross from both historical and present day point and to help it to raise public attention. The Thesis deals with following questions: How and why was the Red Cross found, by whom and for which reason? How the Czechoslovak Red Cross was found and which were its activities after World War I and during World War II? Which were its activities in the postwar socialistic period and in period after 1989? When the Czech Red Cross was found, which are its activities and who are its collective members? The Thesis uses qualitative research methods, namely historical method and method of structured interviews and their analysis by the means of grounded theory method. It handles contemporary and current literature, including journals, archival and other documents. It is supplemented by interviews with management of regional associations whose goal is to describe the activities of the six Regional Associations of Czech Red Cross in the Usti region.
