V teoretické části jsou formulována fakta problematiky a incidence zlomenin proximálního femuru. Rovněž jsou objasněny možnosti léčby. Charakterizujeme pojem strach, jeho vývoj, dynamiku a projevy. Přibližujeme otázku vlivu hospitalizace a operace na psychiku pacientek. Uvedli jsme cíle psychologické péče o hospitalizované pacienty. V empirické části je použit přístup kvalitativního výzkumu formou polostandardizovaného rozhovoru. Výzkum hledal odpověď na otázku výskytu typů strachů u pacientek se zlomeninu proximálního femuru. Zkoumaný soubor tvořilo 10 žen ve věkovém rozmezí od 75 do 85 let. Rozhovor se skládal ze tří souborů otázek, ve výsledcích výzkumu jsou uvedeny autentické odpovědi nemocných. The theoretical part defines the issues and numerous facts of hip fractures. It also explains the various ways of reatment, the work tries to describe the concept of fear, it's approaching progress, dynamics and manifestations. We are about to focus on influence of hospitalization and surgery on the psyche of the patients. We mentioned the goals of psychological care of hospitalized patients as well. In the empirical part we used the qualitative research the form of semi-standardized interviews.
