Diplomová práce analyzuje a interpretuje vybrané krajinné motivy odpovídající biblickým symbolům ve třech raných sbírkách katolického básníka Václava Renče. Cílem této práce je zaujmout stanovisko k vlastní hypotéze o tom, že biblický symbol je legitimním výkladovým prostředkem bremondovské poesie pure, zhodnotit příslušnost Renčovy tvorby ke konceptu poesie pure. Dále definovat hranice poesie pure prostřednictvím srovnání s následující Renčovou sbírkou, která již ve své poetice vykazuje značné proměny. Teoretická část nahlíží synteticky z dobových i moderních literárně-vědných perspektiv na charakter tvorby Václava Renče, na Bremondem nabídnutý koncept poesie pure a jeho recepci v českém prostředí a na úlohu symbolu v poesii pure. Metodologicky uchopuje symbol v pojetí symbolového okruhu Zdeňka Mathausera, který nejlépe odpovídá Bremondově chápání poetičnosti a považujeme ho za základní kámen teorie poesie pure. Praktická část rozebírá stěžejní krajinné symboly (země, květ a plod, keř a strom) v jednotlivých sbírkách na základě biblického výkladu a následně postihuje jejich proměnu v každé z nich. Z konfrontace s následující a zároveň poslední sbírkou let třicátých vyplývá závěr, který potvrzuje naši hypotézu, na základě čehož schvalujeme první tři Renčovy sbírky jako "čistou poezii". V závěru... The thesis analyzes and interprets selected landscape motifs corresponding with biblical symbols in the first three collections of poetry of catholic author Václav Renč. The aim of this thesis is to give an opinion on my hypothesis that biblical symbol is a competent way of interpretation Bremond's pure poetry, and to evaluate the competence of Renč's poetry belonging to the concept of pure poetry. Also defining the limits of pure poetry through a comparison with the fourth Renč's collection which already shows significant changes in it's poetics. The theoretical part is focused on contemporary and modern literary-scientific views on Václav Renč's work, on the concept of poetry provided by Bremond, his reception in our backround and the role of the symbol in pure poetry. The thesis methodologically works with the symbol in connection with Zdeněk Mathauser's theory of a circle symbol that best corresponds with Bremond's understanding of poetry and is considered as the essential base of the theory of pure poetry. The practical part discusses the crucial landscape symbols (earth, flower and fruit, bush and tree) in single collections based on biblical interpretation and then describes their transformation in each of them.
