Abstract: DESIGNER 2000 is a toolbox, which covers the design of single input single output (SISO) adaptive controllers of LQG type (Linear Quadratic Gaussian). The design is based on data measured on the plant and prior knowledge about the system, employs the expert knowledge and control aim. Its features and results are demonstrated on an example using as a system the ball and beam laboratory model.
