Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje zejména na popis mongolské jurty. Rozebírá mongolskou jurtu v jednotlivých historických obdobích, jež byla podstatná pro její vývoj. Značnou část práce tvoří také několik příkladů mongolského folklóru tematicky zaměřených na jurtu, především yoro'ol - "přání" nebo "přací modlitba", magtaal - oslavná píseň, dále také onisgo - hádanky a zu'ir cecen u'g - moudrá rčení. V závěru práce uvádím zvyky a tradice, které se k jurtě pojí a jsou nedílnou součástí mongolské nomádské kultury. The work discusses Mongolian traditional yurt in different historical periods, which were essential for its development. The main part of work is composed of some examples from Mongolian folklore thematically focused on a yurt, especially yoro'ol - wishes or wishing prayers, magtaal - hymns, onisgo - riddles, zu'ir cecen u'g - wise sayings.
