Diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku dětí s Downovým syndromem. Downův syndrom je nejčastější genetická porucha s trizomií 21. chromozomu typická celkovým psychomotorickým opožděním. Práce se zaměřuje na specifické obtíže dětí s DS, s důrazem na motoriku. V praktické části jsou děti s Downovým syndromem vyšetřeny pomocí standardizovaného motorického testu Movement Assessment Battery for Children, 2nd edition (MABC-2). Celkem je testováno 19 dětí ve věkovém rozmezí 3-14 let. Kontrolní skupina zdravých dětí je vybírána v podobném věkovém období, celkem 20 dětí. Zároveň se v práci porovnává parametr dosažení samostatné chůze, který je u dětí s Downovým syndromem často hodnocen a používán jako důležitý motorický milník. Z výsledků vyplývá, že děti s Downovým syndromem ve srovnání se zdravými vrstevníky nedosahují podobné úrovně motoriky. V percentilovém hodnocení děti jsou pod 5. percentilem standardních norem. Down syndrome is the most common genetic disorder with trisomy 21st chromosome with typical overal psychomotoric delay. The thesis is focused on the specific difficultes of children with Down syndrome, with emphasis on motor skills. Children with Down syndrome are examined by standard motion test Movement Assessment Battery for Children, 2nd edition (MABC-2). There are a total of 19 children ranging in age 3-14 years. The control group of children is chosen in similar age group, a total of 20 children. Simultaneously at work is compared a parameter of achievement independent walking. This milestone is very often assessed and used in children with Down syndrome. The results show that children with Down syndrome in comparison with healthy peers did not achieve the similar level of motor skills.
