Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na fenomén bezdomovectví jako na situaci, kdy jedinci nemají dostatek peněz k zajištění konvenčního bydlení, což vede k tomu, že konstruují svůj domov ve veřejném prostoru nebo squatují opuštěné objekty. Je odmítnuto interpretovat bezdomovectví jako patologický jev či jako provinění vůči řádu, kdy bývá na toto téma aplikován individuální přístup. Autor prezentuje bezdomovectví jako důsledek ekonomického systému, který stabilně vykazuje určitou populaci nedosahující na minimální míru možnosti konzumovat, jež by jí zajistila bezpečný život. Koncept hybridu, který vychází z díla Bruna Latoura a je nedílnou součástí actor-network-theory umožňuje interpretovat domov skrze propojení materiálních objektů a sociálních vztahů. Tento přístup vede k oproštění se od atypické podoby nekonvenčních domovů a k uvažování o nich jako o normálním způsobu bydlení. Základem etnografického výzkumu je perspektiva studií materiální kultury, kdy jsou zkoumány jednotlivé příbytky, které jsou obývány třídou nejchudších. Výzkum je složen z analýzy devíti z nich, ve kterých přebývají lidé, kteří se nedobrovolně ocitli v kritické finanční situaci. Přestože jsou jejich nekonvenční domovy odpojeny od vody či elektřiny, nejsou v nich zdroje tepla a jsou v neustálém ohrožení z důvodu absence... This diploma thesis focuses on the phenomena of homelessness as a situation in which individuals do not have enough money to secure the conventional accommodation. This leads to them constructing their home in the public space or squatting abandoned buildings. This thesis refuses to interpret homelessness as a pathological phenomenon or as a violation of order (in order to demonstrate this, individual approaches are usually being used). The author of the thesis presents homelessness as a consequence of the economic system which orders out a certain part of population. This part cannot attain the minimum measure of the chance to consume which would sustain a secure life. The concept of hybrid, which is the integral part of the actor-network-theory and it originates in the works of Bruno Latour, allows us to interpret home through the interconnection of material objects and social relationship. This approach leads to disengagement from the atypical form of unconventional homes and to thinking about them as about a normal way of housing. The basis of the ethnographic research is the perspective of the material culture studies.
