Cílem práce bylo popsat profil a rehabilitaci mírné kognitivní poruchy (MCI) u pacientů po ischemické cévní mozkové příhodě (iCMP). Teoretická část se věnuje iCMP, konceptu MCI, neuropsychologickým nástrojům měření a kognitivní rehabilitaci. V rámci empirického výzkumu byly provedeny dvě studie. V první bylo vyšetřeno 64 pacientů v rozmezí 3-6 měsíců po prodělání první iCMP a 30 zdravých jedinců bez neurologického onemocnění. Bylo zjištěno, že u pacientů po iCMP jsou všechny kognitivní domény narušeny v podobné míře. Narušení se přitom pohybovala přibližně v rozmezí od 1,5 až 2 směrodatných odchylek pod průměrem kontrolní skupiny - jednalo se tedy o narušení poměrně závažná. Výsledky ukázaly, že pravostranné poškození od levostranného odlišuje především nepoměr mezi doménami zrakově-prostorových a jazykových schopností. Klíčovým výstupem výzkumného projektu bylo zjištění, které testy jsou pro vyšetření pacientů s MCI po iCMP nejužitečnější. V druhé studii bylo vyšetřeno 68 pacientů za účelem výzkumu účinku kognitivní rehabilitace. Výsledky ukázaly, že experimentální skupina nedosáhla signifikantně většího zlepšení kognitivních funkcí než skupina kontrolní. Je zapotřebí, aby byly k dispozici citlivé kvalitní nástroje měření, které nejen odhalí i mírné kognitivní změny u pacientů po iCMP, ale také... The goal of this thesis was to describe cognitive profile and rehabilitation of mild cognitive impairment (MCI) in patients with ischemic stroke (IST). The theoretical introduction focuses on IST, the concept of MCI, neuropsychological test of cognitive deficits related to IST, and cognitive rehabilitation. The empirical part of the thesis comprises of two studies. The first study includes 64 patients with various types of brain lesions after first-ever stroke were examined within 3-6 months after hospital admission. All cognitive domains were impaired to the similar extend; the impairment quite severe, and ranged from 1.5 to 2.0 SD below the mean of the control group. The results showed that right hemisphere lesions were associated with visuospatial impairment whereas left hemisphere lesions were associated with language impairment. Also, it was examined which combination of tests differentiates best between patients from the experimental groups and the control group, and among individual experimental groups. In the second study, 68 patients were assessed in order to explore the effect of cognitive rehabilitation.
